Fast food

There is no denying that eating fast food in Taiwan is identical with eating it in America. Due to the international market, the restaurants of America’s brands are already occupied all around Taiwan. People can easily eat the American fast food in Taiwan such as McDonald’s, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Burger King, and Subway. Every city is saturated with America’s brands, so the market of fast food in Taiwan belongs to them. However, I can not find any other restaurants that sell the fast food around there, because Taiwanese like to eat local food in the nightmarket where vendors sell various delicious food in a fixed place at night. It is the traditional culture and habits. Following the advertising strategy of McDonald’s, children are easily subject to the advertisment. Almost every child knows the brand and always likes to go there. It is a unique phenomenon in Taiwan. With the fast food, moreover, I like to enjoy the hamburger and fried chicken when wanting a foreign meal. The reason is convenience and quickness. To eat those meals, all the good memories that I watched on TV floods back my mind. It is a wonderful time to savor them with a glass of iced coke.
